Cotton Merino

The Mayflower Cotton Merino blend is a beautifully crafted yarn that combines the best of both cotton and merino wool. An equal 50/50 blend of each. Offering the warmth of wool with the softness and breathability of cotton. 

Each skien typically weighs 50 grams (1.75 oz) and has a length of about 100 m (109 yds) and is Light Worsted, DK.

• Needle Recommendation: For the Light Worsted, DK type, 4 mm (US 6) needles are recommended, while for the Sport type, needles ranging from 3 mm (US 2.5) to 3.5 mm (US 4) are suitable.
• Knitting Gauge: The knitting gauge for the Light Worsted, DK is 20 stitches, 27 rows to 10 cm/4", and for the Sport type, it’s 24 stitches, 33 rows to 10 cm/4".
• Care Instructions: The yarn should be washed on a fine or wool wash cycle at 30°C (86°F), and it should not be tumble dried. Ironing should be done on low heat.
